Clover Health seeks an Actuarial Analyst for its rotational program to gain broad exposure across actuarial disciplines within Medicare Advantage. You will perform quantitative analyses, build models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence business decisions.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in healthcare finance, analytics, actuarial, consulting, strategy, operations, or related field.
• Successful completion of one or more SOA exams is required.
• Experience in Medicare Advantage, managed care, or value-based healthcare preferred.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills with large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantitative analyses to support forecasting, reserving, pricing, risk adjustment, and value-based care initiatives.
• Develop and maintain analytical models using actuarial and statistical methods on large healthcare datasets.
• Partner with actuaries and business leaders to analyze performance and develop data-driven recommendations.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations communicating complex findings to support planning and decision-making.
• Support enterprise financial planning by analyzing medical costs, revenue drivers, risk adjustment performance, and utilization trends.
• Identify opportunities to automate analyses using SQL, Excel, Python, and AI tools.
• Participate in rotational assignments across actuarial disciplines to build broad knowledge and technical expertise.
