Optum Services, Inc. is seeking an Actuarial Analyst in Eden Prairie, MN. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., broad opportunities to work with revenue, expenses, and actuarial models.

The role requires a math/statistics/actuarial background, at least one actuarial exam, and strong Excel/VBA and Python skills to analyze healthcare data and develop client-ready reports.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Completion of at least one Actuarial exam.
• Proficiency in Excel, including VBA coding.
• Experience with Python and basic data manipulation.
• Healthcare modeling concepts such as runout, claims triangles, severity, and VaR.

Responsabilidades

• Comply revenue and statistical data for projects and forecast revenue.
• Perform expense cost projections and unpaid claim reserve estimates.
• Access and extract data from databases and ensure data accuracy.
• Develop and generate data reports and models for client reporting.
• Explain and defend key model assumptions and drive improvements.
