Job summary

CAI seeks an Active Directory and Windows Server Administrator to elevate our enterprise AD/GPO environment. You will implement CIS baselines, script automation, and oversee server lifecycle at scale, working remotely in a full-time capacity.

You will collaborate with the Server Operations Team to ensure security, reliability, and compliant change controls while documenting all work in Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Active Directory, including domain services and troubleshooting.
• 5+ years with Group Policy: design, scope, filtering and change control.
• 3+ years building and maintaining PowerShell scripts and automation.

Responsibilities

• Execute AD, GPO and permissions work backlog, incl. creation, testing and retirement.
• Implement CIS baselines through GPOs and scripted remediation.
• Design and maintain PowerShell scripts for administration and reporting.
• Automate repetitive tasks with tested scripts and runbooks.
• Manage Windows Server lifecycle: build, patching, upgrading, decommissioning.
• Track work items in Azure DevOps and follow change control processes.
• Document SOPs, runbooks, and changes in Azure DevOps.
