Job summary

NV5 Geospatial is seeking a Project Coordinator to support flight planning, equipment tracking, and field operations. You will assist in scheduling, logistics, and coordination for acquisition missions, working closely with pilots and field teams.

The role emphasises collaboration, safety, and adapting to non-traditional schedules for field operations, with opportunities for travel and hands-on sensor work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or related field; HS diploma and commensurate experience may substitute.
• 2+ years of experience in remote sensing.
• Experience with databases and spreadsheets.
• A valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Develop efficient flight and logistical plans that meet project specifications.
• Maintain project management software related to acquisition efforts.
• Notify Business Unit Leads, Account Managers, Project Managers and Director of Data Acquisition of project status.
• Create flight plans and develop project plans in support of estimating.
• Create and update Project Tracking documents and Flight Backlog.
• Serve as a point of contact for field personnel.
• Travel to the field to support acquisition as a Sensor Operator.
• Troubleshoot and install sensor systems.
• Assist in detailed tracking of project costs and performance budgets.
