Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a CPE Program Supervisor (ACPE Certified Educator) to lead the operation and education of the CPE program across the network. The role collaborates with chaplains to address spiritual care needs of patients, families, and staff while maintaining accreditation standards.

The position is remote/work-from-home with occasional travel, supporting the Richmond, VA market and broader BSMH system. Master’s degrees in theology-related fields and ACPE certification are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Theology or Pastoral Studies (required).
• ACPE Certified Educator or Certified Educator Candidate (required).
• 4 years of progressive experience as a Chaplain (required).

Responsibilities

• Lead the operation and education within the CPE program across clinical group, site, and hospital.
• Recruit, schedule, and supervise CPE programs for the BSMH system, including online programs.
• Oversee admission process of students into on-site and online CPE programs.
• Coordinate clinical placements in facilities in the Toledo Market and other BSMH markets.
• Develop curriculum, accreditation, and budget for the CPE program while ensuring organizational standards.
