Job summary

APG Federal Credit Union (APGFCU) is seeking a seasoned ACH operations specialist to manage and coordinate ACH and share draft processing, ensuring timely posting and compliance with NACHA and Federal Reserve rules. Role includes data entry, reconciliations, and member support.

The position requires 3–5 years in a financial institution and an Associates degree or equivalent training. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid leave.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in business or related field required or two years of equivalent training.
• Three to five years of financial institution experience in deposit operations including ACH and check processing.
• Strong knowledge of NACHA rules and federal regulations; accurate data entry and reconciliation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ACH and share draft processing, balancing, and settlement.
• Process ACH files using multiple software applications and meet posting deadlines per NACHA and Fed rules.
• Record retention for APGFCU checks and reconcile mobile deposit and RDC transactions.
• Research discrepancies and inquiries related to ACH, check, mobile, and RDC.
• Provide support to other departments and members; contribute to process improvements.
• Back up other duties within the deposits/services department and participate in training.
