Qualifications

• 1-3 years of high-volume Accounts Receivable and deduction resolution experience.
• Proficient with Excel and Outlook.
• Basic accounting knowledge and SOX awareness.
• ERP experience and ability to adapt to internal controls.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Verify invoicing discrepancies by researching customer claims with multiple departments.
• Obtain customer documentation from email, portals, or mail.
• Research claims by pulling shipping documents and coordinating with internal/external teams.
• Adhere to a matrix to obtain validations and approvals for credits/memos.
• Dispute invalid deductions and follow up with customers to obtain documentation or repayment.
• Provide updates to management on account portfolio status and aging.
• Ensure claims are raised correctly for accurate reporting.
• Review open claims weekly for accuracy (reason, amount, etc.).
• Navigate customer portals and communicate for payment status via phone/email.
• Maintain weekly task checklists and report exceptions.
• Address inquiries within a 24-hour SLA.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.
• Attend monthly and quarterly team/department meetings.
