Job summary

SupplyHouse.com is seeking an Accounts Payable Team Lead to join our Accounting team. This role reports to the Accounts Payable Manager and leads the AP function to ensure accurate, timely invoice processing and payments while maintaining vendor relationships.

The position is remote, open to several US states, with occasional travel to our Melville, NY headquarters for internal meetings. You will drive process improvements and month-end close support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 2+ years in Accounts Payable or Accounting.
• 2+ years of leadership/people management experience.
• Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead Accounts Payable team and oversee daily operations.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and communications.
• Coach team on GRIT and company values.
• Manage weekly payment runs and setup payments for review.
• Prepare monthly AP reporting and insights.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes.
• Support month-end close activities.
