Job summary

Fullsteam is seeking an Accounting Manager for Payments and Platform Services Revenue to lead revenue recognition and billing for US and Canada. You will oversee the payments revenue accounting team, ensure accurate month-end close, and partner with operations, risk, and backend systems to drive process improvements.

The role requires a CPA or strong GAAP background, 6–8 years of accounting experience, and 3+ years of people management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• CPA certification is a plus.
• 6–8 years of progressive accounting experience, including payments revenue.
• 3+ years of people-management experience.
• Proficiency in ERP systems; NetSuite and Zuora experience a plus.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge, ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• SOX controls knowledge and testing support.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payments revenue accounting for US and Canada.
• Oversee month-end and quarter-end close for payments and platform revenue.
• Manage billing and revenue recognition for Platform Services.
• Collaborate with risk, underwriting, sales, and backend teams.
• Develop and maintain payment process documentation.
• Support external audits with revenue reporting and controls.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing accounting team.
