Job summary

Zynx Health is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the business-unit accounting, ensure close accuracy, and liaise with Hearst Health Group Accounting.

Responsibilities include ASC 606 revenue recognition, capitalized software, tax, SOX controls, and ERP system coordination, with a 100% remote work arrangement.

Ideal candidates have a strong GAAP background, SOX experience, and advanced Excel skills within a centralized, multi-entity environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial close processes.
• Experience with ASC 606 and capitalized software costs.
• Experience with SOX controls and audits.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP, billing and reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close and ensure GAAP-compliant reporting.
• Review journal entries and reconciliations; coordinate with Hearst Health Group Accounting.
• Oversee ASC 606 accounting, capitalized software costs, and tax processes.
• Maintain SOX controls, audit support, and compliance calendars.
• Provide cross-functional accounting guidance and drive process improvements.
