MissionHires seeks an experienced accounting specialist to design and judge AI-generated accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP/IFRS. You will craft scenarios, prompts, and supporting files to test model outputs.

You will evaluate outputs, write grading rubrics, and document strengths and weaknesses, contributing across audit, tax, and financial reporting areas. This is a remote, project-based role with a minimum 10 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience in public/corporate accounting, audit, tax, or financial reporting.
• Currently pursuing or holding a bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Depth in at least one area: audit, technical accounting, tax, close/consolidation, or SOX.
• Familiarity with adjacent accounting workflows.
• Strong spreadsheet skills including schedules, reconciliations, roll-forwards.
• English proficiency: written and spoken at a professional level.
• Unpaid skills assessment of 2–4 hours to be completed without AI tools.

Responsabilités

• Design realistic accounting tasks based on standard workflows and supporting documents.
• Evaluate AI model outputs against accounting standards for deliverables.
• Compare model outputs from the same prompts and document strengths/weaknesses.
• Write detailed grading rubrics specifying treatments, calculations, disclosures, and conclusions.
• Identify concrete model failures, misapplied standards, and ungrounded numbers.
• Contribute expertise across audit, tax, close/consolidation, financial reporting, and SOX.
• Review and refine tasks created by other accounting experts as needed.
• Work remotely with a flexible schedule for at least 10 hours per week.
