Job summary

Paro is seeking experienced accounting professionals for remote, project-based AI training opportunities. You will assess AI-generated workpapers, provide expert judgments, and determine if outputs meet professional standards.

Flexibility is a feature of these roles, with approximately 10+ hours per week and opportunities to contribute to varied projects based on expertise and performance. This is a remote, contract-based engagement designed for seasoned accounting professionals.

Qualifications

2+ years of hands-on professional accounting experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent credential preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Develop realistic accounting tasks based on situations encountered in practice.
Create supporting materials such as trial balances, schedules, workpapers, and correspondence.
Evaluate AI-generated workpapers, memos, and schedules for accuracy.
Review calculations, disclosures, and supporting documentation.
Compare AI outputs and explain where they succeed or fall short.
Identify misapplied standards, unsupported conclusions, or unreconciled numbers.
Develop evaluation criteria for professionally accurate deliverables.
Contribute across audit, technical accounting, tax, close, consolidation, and financial reporting.
