Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking a 100% remote, 1099 independent-contractor life insurance salesperson to help families make informed coverage decisions. A background in banking or credit unions is highly valued, as is careful, respectful conversations about money.

You will reach out to leads, book appointments, review finances, explain carrier options, complete applications accurately, and track each case through underwriting while maintaining CRM records.

What you'll actually do

• Contact people who have already requested life insurance information and book appointments
• Review each household's finances and obligations before discussing any coverage
• Explain how options differ across carriers, then complete the application together
• Handle applications and disclosures accurately, because details matter to underwriting
• Track every open case through the carrier's review and keep clients informed
• Log activity in the CRM and keep up with compliance training

Who this is a fit for
