Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is hiring a remote, 1099 life insurance sales agent. You will contact interested families, review finances, explain carrier options, and complete applications with clients. You’ll handle disclosures correctly and track cases through underwriting while staying compliant.

Training and mentorship from the owners are provided. Ideal candidates have a banking or lending background and can work independently, scheduling their own day and follow-ups, with licensing pursued if not

Job description

If you've worked at a bank or credit union, you already know how to discuss money decisions carefully. This 100% remote, 1099 independent-contractor life insurance sales role puts that to work for families who asked for information.

What you'll actually do

Who this is a fit for

• A background in banking, lending, or credit union member service
• Comfortable with forms, disclosures, and precise recordkeeping
• Able to talk about family finances respectfully and without pressure
• A state life insurance license, or a plan to get licensed before your first sale
• Self-directed, planning your own day and your own follow-up
• At least 18 and legally authorized to work in the United States
