Dane Street is expanding its New York network and seeks experienced Accident Reconstructionists/Biomechanical Engineers to join our panel of consulting experts. This independent contractor role focuses on providing expert opinions on injury causation, accident dynamics, and biomechanical analysis.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Biomechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in accident reconstruction and injury analysis.
• Prior expert witness testimony (deposition and/or trial) required.
• Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform accident reconstruction and biomechanical analyses
• Assess injury mechanisms and consistency with incident reports
• Review records, police reports, and related documentation
• Prepare clear, well-supported expert reports
• Provide deposition and/or trial testimony as needed
