Conviso Inc is seeking an ACAS Engineer for a 100% REMOTE position with benefits, 401K and PTO accrual. You will design, engineer, implement, optimize and manage Tenable/Nessus/ACAS solutions in unclassified and classified DoD environments.

The role requires DoD 8570 IAT II (Security+) certification, strong Linux admin skills, and the ability to coordinate across security engineers, admins and leaders to deliver timely scan results and remediation.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with Linux system administration and troubleshooting is required.
• Strong networking knowledge and ability to identify ports, protocols, and connectivity dependencies.
• Experience coordinating with system administrators, security engineers, and leaders.
• Experience engineering ACAS/Tenable solutions for DoD environments preferred.
• Develop and maintain scan policies, zones, dashboards; interpret findings and recommend remediation.

Aufgaben

• Administer Tenable applications hosted on Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Coordinate with system admins, security engineers, and leaders to sustain and expand capabilities.
• Manage a small team of ACAS support engineers and train junior staff.
• Deliver accurate scan results to customers on time.
• Develop scan policies, zones, dashboards; interpret findings and support risk management.
