Job summary

Gallagher is seeking a Health Insurance Sales Agent to join our team for a remote contract role selling Individual/Family Health plans under ACA. The position offers $20/hr plus bonuses and runs Sept 21 to Jan 29, with a Monday–Friday schedule and some weekends during peak periods.

The ideal candidate has sales experience and an active Life/Health license, plus the ability to work with multiple carriers and navigate sales systems to deliver quotes and exceptional member service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum high school diploma or 1-2 years related experience.
• Must have an Active Accident/Health Insurance License in your state of residency.
• Ability to get appointed as a licensed sales agent by multiple insurance carriers or released if already appointed. (UHC, CIGNA, OSCAR, BRIGHT, Golden Rule, Surebridge, Optimed, Pivot Health, National General, etc).
• Demonstrates proficiency with Sales systems.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound calls from individuals inquiring about ACA individual and/or family health plans.
• Identify clients’ needs and match solutions to those needs.
• Provide quotes using our sales systems and carrier quoting tools.
• Provide excellent customer service to include a positive relationship between prospective members and Gallagher.
