Job summary

General Atomics Systems Integration, LLC (GA-SI) seeks an entry-level A&P/Mechanics professional to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft and powerplant systems. You will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair engines and related components, review records, and assist with training new staff in a remote work-friendly setting with Flex Hourly schedule.

The role requires a high school diploma and possibly an FAA Airframe & Powerplant license, plus strong understanding of maintenance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with related maintenance experience.
• FAA A&P license may be required.
• Knowledge of maintenance procedures and government technical order requirements.
• Ability to travel 50% - 75% and work full-time flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
• Inspect powerplant and components per procedures and government orders.
• Repair leaks and engine problems; may replace components.
• Review records for proper documentation.
• May perform launch/recovery tasks and ground duties.
• Inspect, test, and operate ground support equipment.
• Adhere to laws and company safety procedures.
• Maintain a productive, safe work environment.
• Assist training of new A&P Specialists.
• Support development of new powerplant and systems.
