Job summary

The Hartford is seeking a Claims Consultant in Florida to manage a caseload of professional liability claims within the Architects & Engineers group. Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations and analyze information learned.
• Analyze and determine coverage, liability, and damages.
• Communicate positions to insureds and required parties.
• Set reserves and monitor for adjustments.
• Present cases to management for reserve authority.
• Develop and implement resolution strategies through negotiations.
• Manage litigation and counsel including budgeting and bill review.
• Attend trials and mediations as necessary.
• Prepare reports and deliver presentations to senior claim leadership.
• Provide training and marketing support to Underwriters.
