Job summary
Firstpoint Group is seeking a Remote 5G RF Optimization Engineer to lead Huawei RAN performance across LATAM. You will own remote KPI monitoring, coverage tuning, and capacity enhancements in a strict, results‑driven environment.
The role requires 5+ years of wireless RF optimization, a B2 level (or higher) in English, and the ability to collaborate with distributed teams. This is a permanent full‑time remote engagement with competitive compensation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications or Electrical Engineering.
- 5+ years in wireless RF optimization and cellular network engineering.
- Strong Huawei RAN and 5G NR optimization experience.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher for LATAM collaboration.
- Experience with KPI analysis and network troubleshooting.
- Willingness to work remotely across LATAM.
Responsibilities
- Monitor remote 5G RF KPIs and optimize Huawei RAN performance.
- Tune parameters for 5G NR and LTE/4G as needed.
- Investigate coverage holes, handover issues, and beamforming anomalies.
- Collaborate with distributed engineering teams in English.
- Maintain documentation, runbooks, and performance reports.
- Engage with senior recruitment leadership and clients.
