Job summary

NextGen | GTA: A Kelly Telecom Company is seeking a 5G Core & Cloud RAN Network Engineer on a 6-12 month contract. This role is fully remote across the United States, focusing on Cloud RAN/EPC operations and 5G Core components.

You will validate, optimize, and support advanced wireless solutions in a lab environment, using test automation in C/C++ and Python, and collaborating with experts to deploy cloud-native telecom platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience with Cloud RAN and EPC operations in 5G networks.
• Strong knowledge of AMF, SMF, and UPF components.
• Experience with test automation using C/C++ and Python.
• Familiarity with Private Networks and ENM.
• Proven troubleshooting and lab support experience.
• Experience with lab upgrades, integration, and validation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Allocate ~30% time to 5G Core (AMF, SMF, UPF) work.
• Dedicate ~15% to Test Automation (C/C++, Python).
• Allocate ~10% to Private Networks, ENM, and Lab Upgrades.
