Job summary

TELUS Digital is seeking a 3D Spatial Data Associate to label and organize 3D data for AI training. This role focuses on teaching the AI the spatial alphabet—where curbs end, where pedestrians begin, and how robotic systems perceive shelves within LiDAR and 3D meshes.

You’ll work with a global community, remotely, applying your 3D vision to annotate, segment, clean, and validate 3D scenes for autonomous vehicles, drones, and the metaverse.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Native-level language proficiency for labeling localized signage and assets.
• English proficiency at least B1 (Intermediate).
• Strong 3D vision and spatial skills to interpret 3D scenes and point-cloud data.

Responsibilities

• 3D Bounding Box Annotation: place precise 3D boxes around objects in point-cloud data.
• Semantic Segmentation: classify surfaces like roads, sidewalks, obstacles.
• Point-Cloud Cleaning: remove noise from sensor data for clearer AI input.
• Simulated Data Validation: compare AI environments to real-world captures to verify fidelity.
• Spatial Logic Testing: answer simple spatial questions to validate model reasoning.
