Job summary

Design Agency is seeking a freelance 3D artist to transform footwear photography into photorealistic models and campaign imagery for a leading Footwear client. You’ll work with a creative team on product launches and digital campaigns, taking projects from reference images to final renders.

You’ll build detailed 3D footwear models, create branded environments, lighting and compositions, and handle Photoshop compositing and post-production, with motion graphics as needed. Remote/freelance.

Qualifications

• Professional 3D modeling, rendering and CGI experience, including creating models from photography.
• A portfolio featuring realistic product renders and creative environments.
• Strong knowledge of footwear materials, textures and lighting, plus Photoshop compositing skills.
• Experience with tools such as Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya, Houdini or Substance 3D.
• Footwear or sportswear campaign experience is a plus. Pacific Time availability or the ability to collaborate with a Los Angeles-based team is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build detailed, photorealistic 3D footwear models from product photography.
• Create branded environments, lighting and compositions.
• Handle Photoshop compositing and post-production, with animation or motion graphics as needed.
• Estimate hours and timelines and deliver high-quality work on tight deadlines.
