Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks a detail-oriented engineer to develop accurate 3D models and coordinated shop drawings for xPL Offsite products. You will translate design intent into fabrication-ready documentation for structural, mechanical, electrical, and pathway systems.

The role offers remote or hybrid work; requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Structural/Industrial Engineering with 5+ years in manufacturing or construction and proficiency with MCAD and BIM tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/structural/industrial eng or related field and 5+ years' experience in manufacturing or construction.
• Experience in prefabrication, manufacturing, and construction operations.
• Proficiency in MCAD software and BIM/document coordination tools.
• Familiar with scripting basics to enhance design processes.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate, detailed 3D models for xPL Offsite products and assemblies.
• Develop complete shop drawings and IFF packages with details and schedules.
• Coordinate interfaces across structural, mechanical, electrical, and architectural systems.
• Model across 3D and manufacturing platforms (Revit, Inventor, SolidWorks, CATIA, Rhino).
• Apply DFMA principles to develop product details and assemblies.
• Maintain model accuracy and document control; support reviews and fabrication readiness.
• Collaborate with design stakeholders and manufacturing teams to translate criteria into fabrication-ready output.
