Job summary

Side is seeking a Web Game Developer to build engaging 2D browser games for desktop and mobile. This 3-month freelance role is fully remote within Brazil, requiring strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills and hands-on work with PixiJS, SolidJS, Vite, HTML5 and GSAP.

You will optimize performance, implement responsive layouts, and collaborate with a global team using Git and modern web tools. The ideal candidate has proven experience delivering browser-based games and streaming audio with Howler.js.

Qualifications

• Strong professional experience developing 2D browser-based games.
• Proficiency with TypeScript/JavaScript and PixiJS or similar.
• Experience with HTML5/CSS, SolidJS, Vite, and Git.
• Strong understanding of browser animation, GSAP, and web audio.
• Nice to have Tailwind CSS, Vitest/Playwright, analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain 2D browser-based games using TS/JS, PixiJS, SolidJS, Vite, HTML5, and CSS.
• Implement animations and interactions with GSAP.
