Job summary

Think Academy US is seeking 1-on-1 Lower Elementary Math Tutors for remote roles across the United States. You will deliver one-on-one online lessons to students in Grades 1-4, aligned with CCSS, and use engaging, student-centered methods.

This part-time position offers 15-20 hours per week, a starting pay of $20–$25 per hour, paid training, and opportunities for growth. Applicants should have a degree, teaching experience or certificate, strong communication skills, and are welcome to work in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Math, Education, or related field.
• Teaching experience or a valid teaching certificate preferred.
• Available to work weekday evenings and weekends (US time zones).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one online math lessons for students in Grades 1-4 across North America, aligned with CCSS.
• Teach in English using interactive, student-centered methods to promote engagement and understanding.
• Prepare lesson content based on individual student needs for well-structured instruction.
• Provide timely feedback and targeted guidance to support student progress.
• Bring patience and warmth with young learners and adapt communication style to maintain engagement.
• Paid training will be provided to help you get started.
