Job summary

Think Academy US is seeking a part-time, 1-on-1 math tutor to provide personalized support to students. You will reinforce concepts from their Think Academy math class and help with questions, homework, and areas of difficulty.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or higher, a strong math foundation, and a passion for teaching. You will submit weekly availability and conduct sessions as booked by students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• Strong math foundation; Math, STEM-related, or Education majors preferred.
• Passion for teaching and supporting student growth; strong communication skills.
• Tutoring, mentoring, coaching, or classroom teaching experience is a plus.
• Math competition background (e.g., AMC, Math Kangaroo) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 support to students, reinforcing concepts from their long-term Think Academy math class
• Help students work through specific questions, homework, or areas of difficulty
• Submit your weekly availability; teach sessions as students book them within your open slots
• Communicate professionally with students (and parents, as needed) about progress and areas for improvement
