Think Academy US is seeking 1-on-1 Lower Elementary Math Tutors for remote roles across the United States. You will deliver one-on-one online lessons to students in Grades 1-4, aligned with CCSS, and use engaging, student-centered methods.

This part-time position offers 15-20 hours per week, a starting pay of $20–$25 per hour, paid training, and opportunities for growth. Applicants should have a degree, teaching experience or certificate, strong communication skills, and are welcome to work in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Math, Education, or related field.
• Teaching experience or a valid teaching certificate preferred.
• Available to work weekday evenings and weekends (US time zones).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese preferred.

Whom we are looking for:

Think Academy specializes in providing online math education for students in North America. Our curriculum aligns with U.S. Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and supports students in lower elementary grades. Through personalized, one-on-one instruction, we help young learners build strong foundational math skills, develop confidence, and cultivate a positive attitude toward learning early on. We are currently seeking 1-on-1 Math Tutors to support project testing and ongoing curriculum development.

What You Will Do:

• Deliver one-on-one online math lessons for students in Grades 1-4 across North America, aligned with the CCSS framework
• Teach in English using interactive and student-centered methods to promote engagement, strengthen core concept understanding, and address questions in real time
• Prepare lesson content based on individual student needs, ensuring well-structured and high-quality instruction
• Provide timely feedback and targeted guidance to support student understanding and continuous improvement
• Bring patience and warmth when working with young learners, and adapt communication style to keep lower elementary students engaged and motivated
• Paid training will be provided to help you get started

How You Can Be Qualified:

• Bachelor’s degree or above; majors in Math, Education, or related fields are preferred
• Teaching experience or a valid teaching certificate is highly preferred
• Available and willing to work during weekday evenings and weekends (US time zones)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese is preferred

Pay:

Pay starts from $20–25/hr, with opportunities for promotion and salary increases twice a year.
