Job summary

Deluxe Corporation in Chicago, IL is seeking a Processing Specialist II to handle complex sorting and decisioning of non-standard or rejected transactions across processing areas. The role includes high-speed extraction, scanning, and adherence to client instructions to ensure accurate processing.

The position operates on the 3rd shift, Sunday through Thursday, 10:00pm–6:30am, with base hourly pay between $17.50 and $18.50 plus eligibility for commission or an annual incentive plan.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
• Must be able to read and make decisions
• Able to work independently and with others for all clients
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
• Team player with good interpersonal skills
• Able to adapt to change and learn new processes as the business evolves
• Must meet Deluxe standard minimums for productivity and accuracy
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs. and stand for long periods

Responsibilities

• Perform complex sorting and decisioning of non-standard or rejected transactions
• Reject Operator – pull rejected transactions using reports and processing audit trails
• High Speed Mail Extraction & Scanning – operate I-Tran, IMBL, OPEX systems
• Process client items per instructions and ensure accuracy and output standards
• Assist with training when needed
