Job summary

Remington in the United States is seeking a Day shift Remelt Operator to conduct remelt operations, follow procedures, and perform quality checks to ensure safe, efficient process flow.

You will handle lead scrap, operate pots, skim dross, load molds, and weigh finished pigs, with overtime possible. Requires High School diploma, English proficiency and basic computer skills; on-site work with protective equipment and safety rules.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to speak, read and write English sufficiently to perform the job.
• Basic personal computer skills to navigate menus and print documents.

Responsibilities

• Operate remelt units and follow all safety procedures.
• Perform quality assurance checks and ensure proper material flow.
• Transport materials and manage lead scrap and dross as described in procedures.
• Load wire, billets, ingots and small materials into the system using conveyors.
• Weigh finished pigs and record transactions; maintain proper storage locations.
