Job summary

Woodard & Curran is seeking an experienced environmental/engineering professional for remediation projects in Connecticut. The role focuses on corrective measures, feasibility studies, and detailed remedial designs with construction drawings and cost estimates.

Candidates should have strong project management, written communications, and collaborative skills. Ideal applicants have 5–10 years in environmental consulting, a PE or EIT, and a BS in Engineering.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of professional experience with an environmental/engineering consulting firm.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited program; Master’s desirable.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer-In-Training (EIT) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducting corrective measures/feasibility studies.
• Developing detailed remedial designs including construction drawings, technical plans, estimates, and specifications.
• Estimating costs and managing scope, schedule, and budget for project tasks.
• Designing in situ and ex situ soil, sediment, and groundwater remedies.
• Preparing technical reports compliant with environmental regulations.
• Managing subcontractors and field activities.
• Evaluating and mitigating vapor intrusion sites.
• Remediating Brownfields and redeveloping sites.
• Collaborating with project staff, clients, and regulatory agencies.
