Job summary

Stantec is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Consultant to lead business growth and project delivery across the New England region (CT, MA, NH). This role will focus on expanding our remediation practice by cultivating client relationships, securing new work, and managing complex environmental projects from inception through completion.

Qualifications

• B.S. or MS in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or related field.
• Minimum 15+ years of experience in environmental consulting with a strong remediation focus.
• Proven success in business development and project management.
• Experience working with state and federal regulatory agencies in New England.
• 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification, with annual refreshers.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Pre-employment physical required.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic business development initiatives with key accounts to expand remediation services across New England.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships with power, industrial, commercial, and government clients.
• Identify, pursue, and win new opportunities by leading proposals, RFQs/RFPs, and interviews.
• Collaborate with regional teams to align on growth strategies.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and mentor junior staff.
• Support technical excellence and innovation within the remediation practice.
• Perform QA/QC reviews and approve environmental deliverables.
• Ensure HSSE policies are implemented in all work.
