Job summary

Stantec seeks a Senior Environmental Remediation Project Manager to lead project teams through all lifecycle phases for environmental remediation and consulting services. You will oversee staff to ensure client satisfaction, on-time delivery, and profitability.

Responsibilities include managing scopes, budgets, and schedules; leading business development; interfacing with clients and regulators; and guiding junior staff with technical direction and QA/QC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Geology/Hydrogeology.
• Licensed NY Professional Engineer or Professional Geologist with 15+ years of experience.
• Environmental compliance experience a plus (NYS tank regs, SPCC, air, RCRA, wastewater).
• PFAS experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams to implement projects through all lifecycle phases.
• Oversee environmental staff for on-time, within-budget delivery.
• Lead business development activities: proposals, pre-qualifications, client relationships.
• Interface with clients and regulators; prepare contract documents and permits.
• Conduct HSE compliance and QA/QC of project documents.
• Provide mentoring and technical direction to junior staff.
