Job summary

New York Air Brake in Springfield, MO is seeking a Remanufacturing Technician to support our production team. You will perform basic disassembly, washing, and reassembly of parts, and identify serviceable vs. non-serviceable items.

You will operate semi-automatic equipment, use power and hand tools, and follow quality and safety rules. A high school diploma and 1–2 years of related experience are required; lifting up to 75 pounds with assistance and standing for long periods are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of related experience.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance.
• Knowledge of measuring devices.
• Good mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

• Basic disassembly, washing, and assembly of parts.
• Identify serviceable vs. non-serviceable parts.
• Operate semi-automatic equipment such as pedestal buffers, wash machines, and ultrasonic washers.
• Handle parts and tools in a safe manner.
• Understand and comply with all quality and safety rules, guidelines, policies and procedures.
