Job summary

Cardinal Equipment Services is seeking a Remanufacturing Technician I in Winter Haven, FL. You will diagnose, disassemble, clean, repair, and reassemble coolers and vending machines across multiple departments to restore equipment to quality standards.

You will rotate through Triage, Pre-Work, Wash Bay, Panel, Body, and Paint, ensuring accurate work orders, safe operation, and efficient production flow. A HS diploma and basic PPE adherence are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of warehouse or handyman experience preferred.
• Must wear PPE and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Work across departments (Triage, Pre-Work, Wash Bay, Panel, Body, Paint) to support refurbishment of coolers and vending machines.
• Perform initial diagnostics in Triage, document findings, and create work orders.
• Test machine functionality (cooling, lighting) and determine repairs and parts.
• Remove grills, clean components, assess doors and panels for damage.
• Pressure-wash units to remove dirt and prep for repair.
• Disassemble machines to clean components and replace damaged panels; perform bodywork and prep for painting.
