Job summary

Caterpillar Remanufacturing in Corinth, MS seeks a Cleaning I to disassemble and detail engine components in a safety-conscious, fast-paced setting. You will use disassembly and cleaning tools, wear a detail suit with hood/respirator, and may move parts with an overhead hoist, while staying compliant with safety guidelines.

The role involves material handling, working with production schedules, and collaborating in a team.

Qualifications

• Basic reading/writing and ability to enter data.
• Read/write and interpret documents.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Hoist experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of engines and components helpful.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with basic tooling (hand/air tools) may be required.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and detail engine components in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.
• Use disassembly tools to clean/detail parts (vibratory, pneumatic tools, etc.).
• Cross-train in other Salary Grade 1 positions as needed.
• May use overhead hoist to move large components.
• Handle materials and unload parts per production schedule.
• Wear a detail suit with hood and/or respirator.
• Utilize various computer systems and email daily.
• Adhere to built-in safety guidelines.
• Work in a team environment with limited supervision.
