Job summary

RK Industries is seeking a Welder at multiple levels to perform welding tasks on structural and miscellaneous metal components. You will interpret blueprints, operate trade-specific machinery, and ensure quality welds in accordance with project specs and safety standards.

The role is classified by certifications and experience, with opportunities across Welder 1, 2, and 3. Commitment to Lean/Six Sigma and teamwork drives growth in this family-owned company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
• 3-5 years welding/machining experience preferred.
• Ability to read process sheets, cut lists, tolerances, and basic drawings.
• Follow established procedures and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Pass required welding tests (3G/FCAW, 1G/GMAW-MC, 3G/GMAW-SC).
• Fabricate and weld components per blueprints and specs.
• Read labels, job orders, and drawings to determine equipment and sequence.
• Inspect products for quality and document results.
• Operate lifts and overhead cranes safely.
• Meet production schedules and continuous improvement goals.
• Use measuring tools accurately and maintain equipment.
