Job summary

Accelera Staffing is seeking a Packing Supervisor for a fast-paced food manufacturing facility in Florida. You will lead a team of 15–40+ associates, oversee packaging operations, ensure quality, safety, and on-time output.

The role requires 3+ years in supervisory roles, experience with GMP, SQF, HACCP, and bilingual English/Spanish communication. Day shift, permanent full-time with relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role in food production, packaging, or manufacturing.
• Experience supervising 15+ staff.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is mandatory.
• Familiarity with GMP, SQF, or HACCP.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, organize complex tasks, and solve problems effectively.
• Capacity to excel in a high-pressure manufacturing atmosphere.
• Lean/5S experience, ERP familiarity, or SQF certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee packaging tasks including weighing, bagging, labeling, sealing, and prep for distribution.
• Direct and maintain attendance, quality, productivity, and safety standards to foster a high-performing culture.
• Manage staffing levels, production targets, and workflows to meet deadlines.
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety protocols (SQF, HACCP, GMP).
• Keep precise production records and ensure product traceability.
• Identify bottlenecks to improve efficiency and reduce material waste.
