Lee Health in Fort Myers is seeking an Operating Room nurse to ensure safe delivery and documentation of patient care in a critical care setting. The role follows the nursing process and requires collaboration with the care team to achieve outcomes.

The position is full-time with a 1/7 shift; a $10,000 relocation incentive plus a housing stipend of $1,800 per month for three months is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from accredited school of professional nursing required; Bachelors preferred.
• Experience required; competency assessment for department.
• Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), current for 90 days after hire; ACLS if required.
• Currently licensed in the State of Florida.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Safe delivery and documentation of patient care in a critical care area using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct and coordinate nursing care for patients based on established standards.
• Collaborate with other professionals to ensure effective patient care and outcomes.
• Support the organization's vision and mission; cover call as assigned.
• Nurse practice guided by professional ethics and regulatory standards.
