Job summary

AAA USA in North Carolina is actively seeking an experienced Machine Operator to set up and operate manual and CNC machines, producing precision parts to exact tolerances.

You will read blueprints and drawings, use precision measuring tools to verify components, and support ongoing production through routine maintenance and teamwork. Willingness to travel/relocate to Kinston, NC is required with relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• Reads blueprints/sketches/ drawings to determine processes and setups.
• Operates manual and CNC machines to manufacture precision parts.
• Uses measuring tools to verify finished components and tolerances.
• Maintains quality standards and performs routine machine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates manual and CNC machine tools to manufacture precision parts while maintaining required tolerances and specifications.
• Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches, and engineering drawings to determine machining processes, tooling, and setup requirements.
• Uses precision measuring instruments and machinist tools to inspect, assemble, and verify finished components.
• Performs machining operations including milling, drilling, boring, grinding, honing, deburring, and fastening.
• Monitors quality standards and follows manufacturing procedures to ensure product accuracy and compliance.
• Performs routine machine maintenance, including lubrication, coolant checks, and basic equipment upkeep.
• Moves materials and completed parts through the manufacturing process using assigned equipment.
• Supports team operations by training and assisting other employees as needed.
