Job summary

Barry-Wehmiller Design Group in Roseville, CA is seeking a Project Accounting Manager to lead a team of project accountants, ensuring revenue recognition, forecasting, billing, collections, and contract administration.

You will partner with regional Finance, IT, and operations to standardize processes, deliver monthly A/R/cash reports, and support year-end audits. Relocation assistance is provided; travel 10–15% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is preferred.
• CPA certification is preferred.
• Experience in project accounting and financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of Project Accountants to ensure financial integrity including revenue recognition, project forecasting, billing, collections, and contract administration.
• Lead monthly team project review meetings and provide reports on project A/R & cash, risks & opportunities, and WIP analysis.
• Manage month-end closing process with project reviews, time/expense oversight, invoice reviews, and variance communication.
• Provide ongoing communication to Finance leadership on significant project financial matters.
• Collaborate with Finance and IT to prioritize and define system needs.
