Job summary

Hillcrest HealthCare System in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Pharmacy Director to lead the hospital pharmacy department. The role entails planning, organizing, and supervising pharmacy activities in alignment with policies, standards, and state and federal laws.

The Director will mentor clinical pharmacists and staff, ensure compliance with JCAHO, DEA, and State Board requirements, and drive quality, safety, and patient satisfaction initiatives in collaboration with executive leadership.

Qualifications

• B.S. or Pharm D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Three or more years of hospital pharmacy experience.
• Two years of leadership experience.
• Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy.
• Other applicable state requirements e.g., sterile compounding.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise activities in hospital pharmacy in accordance with hospital policies and laws.
• Provide leadership to pharmacy staff including clinical pharmacists and support personnel.
• Ensure compliance with JCAHO, DEA, and State Board of Pharmacy.
• Establish quality improvement, productivity, and patient satisfaction goals with upper management.
• Recruitment, training, evaluation, and retention of department staff.
