Job summary

Eaton’s Electrical sector seeks an Operations Manager - Fabrication at the Greenwood, SC site to lead the Fabrications Operations Team. Responsible for safety, quality, cost, and delivery, you will deploy strategic direction, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate with production schedules to meet customer commitments.

Requires 5+ years manufacturing leadership, a Bachelor's degree, and experience with Lean Six Sigma.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering or related field required.
• Minimum five years of manufacturing/operations experience.
• Minimum three years of leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set operations direction for fabrication at the Greenwood plant.
• Develop objectives and cascade them across the workforce.
• Deploy safety programs and 5S housekeeping standards.
• Coordinate fabrication with production schedules to meet customer needs.
• Monitor quality, cost, delivery and safety metrics and take corrective action.
• Lead continuous improvement and staff development within the fabrication team.
• Administer performance management for the department.
• Allocate capital and people resources to maximize efficiency.
