Job summary

Valley Youth House in Warminster Township, PA, is seeking a Relief Youth Advisor to supervise and engage youth on Friday and Saturday shifts (8am–4pm and 3pm–11pm), on-site, and support their life skills through trauma-informed, culturally aware approaches. Ideal candidates are 21+, have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

Minimum of high school diploma or GED.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.
Ability to adapt to independent living program goals and philosophy.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to navigate stairs is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide quality supervision to assigned clients during shifts including evenings, overnights, and weekends.
Engage clients using positive youth development, trauma-informed, and culturally appropriate frameworks.
Oversee site maintenance and ensure regulatory compliance and timely paperwork.
Address and report crises or incidents according to protocols with safety planning.
Attend trainings and complete required hours annually.
