Job summary

Valley Youth House is seeking a part-time Youth Advisor to supervise clients on Sundays from 8am to 4pm, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and occasional overnights. The role involves on-site activities, youth life skills support, and adherence to trauma-informed practices.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and be comfortable with computer tools (Windows and Google Suite). Training and orientation are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1 year of experience with adolescents preferred.
• Creative thinkers who adapt to diverse groups and flexible in approaches.
• Valid driver's license with vehicle insurance and inspection.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality supervision to assigned clients during shifts, evenings, weekends, and Sundays, engaging clients and supporting life skills.
• Oversee site maintenance and cleanliness in compliance with regulations; submit follow-up paperwork on time.
