Position Overview

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Nashville, TN is hiring experienced Emergency Veterinary Technicians for day shifts! Rotating weekends & holidays required. Pay ranges from $21.00 to $41.00 per hour, depending on experience and advancement through our leveling system. Candidates with VTS credentialing are eligible for higher compensation.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams and monitor vital signs
• Perform phlebotomy and place IV catheters
• Follow treatment orders accurately
• Alert veterinarians of patient status changes
• Calculate medical dosages
• Administer medications and prepare discharge instructions
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members
• Implement animal husbandry practices
• Assist with anesthesia and monitoring
