The Oregon Humane Society, based in Salem, seeks a qualified Relief Veterinarian to lead and deliver high-quality veterinary services. Qualifications

• DVM from an accredited institution.
• Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Oregon or able to acquire within six months of hire.
• Able to provide high quality patient care to multiple species including dogs, cats, rabbits, birds and exotics.
• Demonstrate excellent surgery and medical diagnostic abilities in a high-volume facility.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform clinical and surgical veterinary duties in a high-volume spay/neuter general surgery and diagnostic center.
• Provide primary care to shelter-owned and client-owned animals across multiple species.
• Lead and mentor veterinary students; participate in clinical rounds.
• Maintain accurate medical records in line with practice and state standards.
• Collaborate with medical staff and other departments to ensure optimal patient care.
