Job summary

Veterinary Practice Partners is seeking an experienced Relief / Per Diem Veterinarian (W-2) to cover Pine Bluff Animal Hospital, Skinner Animal Clinic, Lakewood Animal Hospital, and Dwight Veterinary Clinic in Central Illinois. Flexible schedule with 3–4 days per week, approx 12 shifts per month.

Earn $1,200 per shift with mileage reimbursement, plus comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with employer match, PTO and CE allowances.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of clinical experience.
• DVM or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college.
• Active Illinois veterinary license in good standing (or ability to obtain).
• Enjoy collaborating with different teams and value flexibility.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to multiple hospital environments while delivering high-quality medicine.

We’re seeking an experienced W-2 Relief / Per Diem Veterinarian to provide coverage across Pine Bluff Animal Hospital, Skinner Animal Clinic, Lakewood Animal Hospital, and Dwight Veterinary Clinic in Central Illinois:

• Pine Bluff Animal Hospital – 7995 E Pine Bluff Rd, Morris, IL 60450
• Skinner Animal Clinic – 925 S Water St, Wilmington, IL 60481
• Lakewood Animal Hospital – 1301 Lakewood Dr, Morris, IL 60450
• Dwight Veterinary Clinic – 305 S Old Rte. 66, Dwight, IL 60420

• Compensation: $1,200 per shift (plus mileage reimbursement)
• Schedule: Choose your schedule—work 3–4 days per week or approximately 12 shifts per month | Hours: M-F 8:00 AM–5:30 PM with a 30-minute paid lunch break, Saturdays 8am-12pm
