Job summary

Veterinary Practice Partners seeks an experienced W-2 Relief / Per Diem Veterinarian to cover Pine Bluff Animal Hospital, Skinner Animal Clinic, Lakewood Animal Hospital, and Dwight Veterinary Clinic in Central Illinois. Work across four clinics with a flexible schedule and the security of W-2 employment.

You will be part of collaborative teams with each hospital, enjoying diverse cases and a supportive environment while delivering high-quality medicine.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of clinical experience.
• DVM or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college.
• Active Illinois veterinary license in good standing (or ability to obtain).
• Enjoy collaborating with different teams, value flexibility, and are passionate about providing outstanding patient care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to multiple hospital environments while delivering consistent, high-quality medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide relief veterinary services across Pine Bluff Animal Hospital, Skinner Animal Clinic, Lakewood Animal Hospital and Dwight Veterinary Clinic.
• Collaborate with teams across multiple hospitals to maintain high-quality patient care.
• Follow standard treatment protocols and ensure clear communication with staff and clients.

We're seeking an experienced W-2 Relief / Per Diem Veterinarian to provide coverage across Pine Bluff Animal Hospital, Skinner Animal Clinic, Lakewood Animal Hospital, and Dwight Veterinary Clinic in Central Illinois:

• Pine Bluff Animal Hospital - 7995 E Pine Bluff Rd, Morris, IL 60450
• Skinner Animal Clinic - 925 S Water St, Wilmington, IL 60481
• Lakewood Animal Hospital - 1301 Lakewood Dr, Morris, IL 60450
• Dwight Veterinary Clinic - 305 S Old Rte. 66, Dwight, IL 60420

• Compensation: $1,200 per shift (plus mileage reimbursement)
• Schedule: Choose your schedule - work 3-4 days per week or approximately 12 shifts per month | Hours: M-F 8:00 AM-5:30 PM with a 30-minute paid lunch break, Saturdays 8am-12pm
