Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience measuring with micrometers, verniers, height and depth comparators, and air gauges.
• Able to work with minimal direction.
• Willing to work unscheduled overtime to satisfy emergency or critical customer shipments.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test relief valves to meet pressure specifications.
• Set and adjust valves to desired pressure; check seat tightness; detect leakage.
• Assemble components including nameplates, seals, and covers; stamp and mark.
• Paint and finish parts per QA and customer requirements.
• Lapp and fit valve parts from drawings; operate multiple machines when needed.
• Interface daily with Engineering, Manufacturing, Production Control, and Sales to ensure on-time deliveries.
